What is STEAM?
A way of learning that draws on the knowledge from many different subjects and what they have in common. Science, Technology, Engineering and Math are STEM subjects, but the STEAM approach adds in the ARTS and asks how we can use information to develop our ideas and push the envelope of innovation. |

What to bring...Food for thought and for lunch. Bring ideas about what you might want to try out or make, and a daily lunch and beverage. Snacks will be provided, as will most supplies.
We are also asking that each camper bring one "dead" electronic device...something that worked once but is now broken. This item will not be returned, but will be added to the class deconstruction pile. The "Check it out! button will connect you with a video made by MU student Heather Hickok. It documents a STEAM-type project she made for a class this spring. Projects from Day Two: Geodesic domes for our new world and transportation to get us there.
